Luke Cimorelli (He/him) is an NYC-based performer, director, and educator. He grew up surrounded by music, whether it be his Dad’s classic rock vinyls or his mom’s 80s CD collection on long car rides. He began his theatrical journey singing in choir in elementary school, and after being in his first musical, Bye Bye Birdie Jr. in middle school, it was love at first sight.
In the almost 10 years following that first show, Luke has continued to pursue theatre and hone his craft. He joined a performing arts program in high school where he studied multiple aspects of theatre-making, including set construction, directing, Shakespeare, and more. He is currently a student at the Molloy University/CAP21 Musical Theatre Conservatory, Where he will graduate with a BFA this May. He has had an amazing experience there getting to learn various techniques and styles and work on various projects, from fully staged musicals to workshops for developing shows.
Outside of school, Luke has acted professionally with The Madison Theatre, directed several children’s theatre productions at Lawrence Woodmere Academy, and worked on educational theatre programs with Camp Broadway, including their gala performance with the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall.
